Takes 2 AA batteries, very easy to attach to bike and backpack, got about three or four long evenings of use before needing to replace batteries. Red is actually a dusty neon orange, very sci-fi, white is ethereal, almost pink, blue is very bright, not sky blue or teal at all.

It makes a really high pitch noise i notice it when there is no noise around me but i’m sure in a crowd or a party you prolly wouldn’t notice it.
